Aurora Technology
An array of sensors continuously captures climate data from the Greenwall and its surroundings. The data available through Aurora allows the monitoring of the good development of the plants, irrigation system and much more.
4 stages to
achieve a facade
perfect vegetable
Design and technical study
A plant façade is a composition made from a selection of perennials and small shrubs suitable for vertical development. Whether it is a new building or a renovation, it is essential to carry out a study to determine the technical solution that best suits the building and the expectations of the developer.
Cultivation
Greenhouse pre-cultivation. A minimum period of 4 months of greenhouse cultivation guarantees a good rooting of the plants on the facade modules. This stage guarantees a green façade as soon as it is installed.
Installation and irrigation
Application of the irrigation protocol. The installation of a green façade requires a mode of operation often unknown to other professions, unfamiliar with working with living material and the associated inconveniences. The preservation of the plants requires, from the delivery of the work, the application of an irrigation protocol: installation of an automatic irrigation system with appropriate adjustments for each season of the year.
Follow-up and maintenance
The irrigation system is a vital element of the façade: its management and supervision ensure the beauty of the vegetation and optimize water consumption. To keep a facade in good condition over time, it is also necessary to perform monthly maintenance of the plants, the structure, the irrigation system and the technical installations.
